Mobile Detailing During Winter

At Four Seasons Mobile Detailing, winter doesn’t mean the detailing stops!  We have a number of ways to deal with the colder weather and keep our customers in Montgomery County, PA driving clean and protected vehicles.

• Our mobile detailing vehicles are stored inside our shop in northwestern Montgomery County, PA where the temperature is a balmy 55 degrees during the winter months when not out on the road performing mobile detailing services for our customers.  This ensures that the chemicals, water and equipment are warm and ready to go!
• If the temperature outside is above 42 degrees, our technicians can perform all the normal mobile detailing services we offer right at your home or office, just like any other time of the year.  Our techs have a great assortment of gear (such as waterproof gloves) to keep them warm and dry on the cold days of winter in Montgomery County, PA.
•  Since we provide our own water and power, it doesn’t matter if your outside hose hookup has been shut off for the winter. 
• Our trained technicians often will start the day a bit later in the morning if the temperatures were below freezing overnight.  With the daylight hours being shorter, our last appointment time will usually have a starting time of 3pm.
• Some of you may be wondering WHY it is important to have a vehicle detailed during the winter months…
• Winter driving conditions and weather are significantly harder on your vehicle both inside and out.
  • Inside
    •   Moisture from wet feet or clothing will not evaporate normally as it does during warmer months.  This can lead to all sorts of odors and unpleasant conditions.
    •   Rock salt and gravel tend to accumulate on floors and seats (especially for those with children in car seats).  The salt is extremely corrosive to anything it touches.
    •   Since most of us don’t have our windows open in our cars during the winter months, having a clean and fresh smelling vehicle is all the more important.
  • Outside
    •   Temperatures and the harsh weather conditions (think snow, sleet, freezing rain) take a large toll on the exterior of any vehicle.  Having a good layer of protection (SystemX Renew ceramic based sealant) applied by Four Seasons Mobile Detailing will help stave off the effects of winter. 
    •   A properly sealed vehicle exterior will shed rain, snow, etc. significantly better (and easier) than one without protection.
    •   Having your wheels detailed (part of ALL our exterior detailing packages) will help to remove buildup of salt and other harsh winter residue(s).
